TGO.Net Screenshothis is another project I have been working on lately.

It is a Graphical GTP host that allows you to play against programs like GNUGO, or with another human.  It includes a number of options and graphical niceities, but is currently very slow.  Once I improve the performance a little, I will release it.  It is made using my own Zircon game engine in C# with Managed DirectX for Windows.  Stay tuned.

This is the beginning of my blog, Zombie Process. My name is Owen, and I program computer games.  Currently I am working on an open source guitar playing game.  The prototype is almost complete and I will post a link to the project soon.

The game works using some pretty simple techniques.  You can load guitar pro tabs for any song and play along with a real guitar.  Right now the input is pretty simple, it uses the basic chromatic scale.  So if the note you need to hit is an A# and you play an A#, it counts.  There is also no real hit window yet, so as long as the correct note is ringing at the right time it counts.  This will change soon to require some rhythm on the part of the player.  It also doesn't have much in the way of graphics yet, or the ability to play along with mp3s.  More to come as development continues..
